Rethinking Internships

My name is Susan Kraus, and I founded EarlyTalent Co™ to address a gap in the resources available to both employers and students when it comes to internship programs. Designing and executing an effective program requires time, structure, and intention. Many organizations are balancing competing priorities. Students, especially those outside of traditional business tracks, often have limited access to tailored advice.

I bring over a decade of experience in Talent Acquisition, including five years building and scaling an internship program from 8 to 75 interns nationwide. During that time, I achieved retention rates of up to 60%, supporting long-term hiring and growth goals. My background spans startups, privately held companies, and Fortune 500 organizations, giving me a broad perspective on how different organizations need to approach talent development.

For the past few years, I worked in brand marketing, where I developed a strong appreciation for the role of storytelling in shaping meaningful experiences.
